A Simple Solution for Clean and Fresh Air

A Simple Solution for Clean and Fresh Air

Ajay Keshri Tuesday, 31 December 2024

Air pollution is a big problem that’s getting worse every day. During my visit to Vigyan Mela 2024, I saw an amazing project created by students of IES College of Technology Bhopal. Their Air Pollution Monitoring System and Air Purifier is a smart device that checks the air quality and cleans it at the same time.

Bhopal Vigyan mela 2024

This project is especially important for places like Bhopal, where air quality has become a serious issue. The device uses advanced sensors to measure the Air Quality Index (AQI) and other pollutants. It shows the data in real time so people know how clean or polluted the air around them is. At the same time, it purifies the air, removing harmful particles and making the space healthier to breathe in.

What Makes It Special?

This system is small, portable, and affordable, which means anyone can use it. It is perfect for homes, offices, or even cars, providing clean air wherever it’s needed. It is also energy-efficient, so it saves electricity while helping the environment.

Here are some unique features:

1. Energy Saver: Uses very little power, making it eco-friendly.

2. Portable and Affordable: Small, lightweight, and easy on the pocket.

3. Dual Purpose: Monitors air quality and cleans it at the same time.

Why Is This Device Important?

The team designed this project to help people understand the quality of the air they breathe. By knowing the AQI, people can take steps to protect themselves from harmful air pollution. The device is useful in small spaces like rooms, cars, or offices, where clean air can make a big difference in health and comfort.

How It Helps

This system not only shows the level of pollution but also works as an air purifier, giving instant relief from dirty air. It’s especially useful in cities where pollution is a daily challenge. Whether you are at home, working in an office, or traveling in a car, this device ensures that you always have clean air to breathe.

Visiting Vigyan Mela 2024 was an inspiring experience. Seeing young minds come up with practical solutions for real problems gives hope for a better future. This project is a great example of how technology can improve lives. With such innovations, we can look forward to cleaner air and healthier living for everyone.

What’s the maximum area it can effectively purify? Is it suitable for large rooms?

Our device measures the AQI of a particular space, but the government's data reflects the overall AQI of the city or town, so the data will definitely be different. However, the AQI measured by our device for that specific space is completely accurate.
